    Hersheypark Sundown Plan Question

    Post  Ccron10 on Sun Jul 11, 2010 1:01 pm

I have a question about the Sundown Plan. I do know that it is a much cheaper option to visit the park and I also know that it can get you into the park 5 hours before thepark closes.

My question is if parking is still $10 per car or does the park offer a discounted price. My last question is if it is worth the price and how the crowds would be to do this on a Wednesday night?

    Thanks!

I believe the parking price is still the same regardless. Crowds on a wednesday should be moderate to light I see no reason for HP congestion on a Wednesday night.

I agree about the parking. It's the same, no exceptions (unless you have a season pass). The only reduction in the parking price applies to HP in the Dark and CCL which was $7.00 as of last year.

Parking is the same all day. This time in the summer almost everyday would be crowded. The middle of the week should be less than other days.

That is thev best deal around (as well as Dorney's) to be able to go in for cheaper in the evening. You get evening rides into night rides, it's when a lot of people start heading out for the day, and if you play your cards right you could get on everything plus re-rides. Monday-Thursday is perfect for this!

Kings Dominion also does this. The last time we went in 2004, we went on Sunday evening and I was able to get my ride on Hypersonic out of the way. I did Volcano first thing in the morning when we went back, plus re-rode stuff I did the night before. I don't know if they still do this or not under Cedar Fair's ownership, but it helped us out alot.
