I know there is a flea market there now, but what is to become of the Cyclone? It's just sitting there now.

I've been wondering that myself. Heck if it's still there, it should have a complete refurbishment done to it, then they could re-open it back up and make money in the summer by allowing people to pay to ride it.

Williams Grove? From what I heard the whole park looked like it needs a refurbishment. When TPR visited a few years ago, they had a coaster right in the middle of the field with weeds growing around it. From what I've heard the Cyclone was a unique ride, but I don't know if it could be refurbished. Anyone have pictures of the park after it closed?

That's what I would like to know. I'm sure if we conducted an internet search, some may pop up.

I have a few of the station. The odd thing is that the train is still sitting in the station as if it's waiting for dispatch.

When did you get pictures of that? I think they should do a major refurb and re-open the ride.

^Apparently on August 24th of last year. Here's the one of the station:

I also took two of the actual ride in case you wanted to see those:

I'm sure it looks exactly the same now as it did last year.

Looks a lot like what Miracle Strip Amusement park looked like when it closes a few years earlier. Sad to see the rides just sitting there. But with Miracle Strip, they were able to salvage rides and move them to other parks.

Well, that is what happened to all of Williams Grove's rides. I think the only one left is the Cyclone, and they've said countless times that they're going to demolish it, but haven't.

I wish someone would invest fixing up that ride and open up a small park in that location again. That's just a shame.

The coaster doesn't look in too bad of condition - it's just the surrounding area. They should really fix the park up. If not make it as big as it used to - turn the area into a regular park with a coaster.

Would be nice to see it turned into something. If I had the money, the place would be making the bucks again and would be more appealing to everyone.

I was just watching a show on the History channel called "Life After People" and it showed another amusement left to rot. After really only 5 or 10 years that it was abandoned, it has been overgrown and the coaster slowly deteriorating. Just shows you how fast you have to act to save these things.
